Research

My research interests lie in computer vision, machine learning, and algorithm design, with a focus on socially impactful applications.

I am currently working on two projects: (1) real-time detection and adaptive signal control for Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs) in transportation safety, and (2) evaluating LLM bias in employment screening. Previously, I collaborated with the AIM Lab at Augusta University on neuromorphic computing for seizure prediction using Spiking Neural Networks.

My paper on integrating Google DeepMind’s AlphaDev sorting networks into classical algorithms received the Best Short Paper Award at ACM Southeast 2025. I have served as Teaching Assistant for CS 141 at Stetson, and taught data science at Hack The Hood in summers 2024 and 2025. As President of Stetson’s Computer Science Club (2024–2025), I directed technical projects including deploying a departmental server.
